The Azienda Agricola Galano is involved from generations in the cultivation and processing of typical Sorrento products: lemon and olive, both PGI - Protected Geographical Indication; from which a lot of products are derived, such as peels and juices, extra virgin oil and citrus-based condiments.

Work is marked out by passion, in the name of tradition and modernity embrace. Introducing “Sorrento Lemon Tour” the company is now delighted to welcome visitors to an original & unique experience: a tour throughout colors, smells and tastes of a real country life.
So, welcome to the family! Carolina, with her sweet smile, Osvaldo the strong hand behind the process and the three young sons, all with a twinkle in their eyes: Mario, Carmine and Giada. Together they are dedicated to the family business!
Passion for land, work and family is the key ingredient in a walk which will play with your senses, through the lemon and olive groves, in the hills above Sorrento. This tour encompasses viewing of the facilities, demonstrating the production and processing techniques we employ in making our products; last, but not least, it includes a great tasting of handmade products!
Our Tours
"Nonno Mario" Tour (2 hours) - adults 65,00 € - free children up to 12 years old
- Pick up, once you arrive at the structure you will try a lemon drink (Limoncello spritz/ Soft ice cream made by us and GIN COSTIERA)
- Tour in the lemon grove explaining all about Galano Family's methods to cultivate lemons
- Explanation of how our lemon is marketed after harvest
- Visit to the laboratory, where lemons are transformed. Peeling demonstration and peel taste
- Last area to see is the show room, where you can find and purchase typical products made by our costumers
- At the end of the tour, you can try the dessert of the day, flavoured with our lemon
"Nonna Concettina" Tour (2,5 hours) - adults 80,00 € - 40,00 € children up to 12 years old
- pick up, arrival at the garden where you can taste an aperitif that includes: Fried PACCHERO stuffed with Provolone del Monaco cheese and Zucchini; slice of bread with red and yellow Datterino tomato; potato croquettes and basil arancini (rise ball); eggplant Parmigiana
- Tour in the lemon grove explaining our lemon cultivation methods
- Visit to the transtormation laboratory with exposition about how our lemon is processed after harvest
- Peeling demonstration with sensory parenthesis offered by lemon peel
- Explanation of how our lemon is marketed
- Show room, full of typical products made by our costumers that you can also purchase
- At the end of the tour, you can try the dessert of the day, flavoured with our lemon
"Zi' Teresa" Tour (3-4 hours) - adults and children 120,00 €
- pick up, once you arrive at the structure you can taste our oil on slice of bread or our marmalade, accompanied by a lemon drink
- Lemon grove tour with detailed explanation of Galano Family's methods to cultivate lemon trees
- Explanation of how our lemon is marketed after harvest
- Visit to the transformation laboratory, where you can see how lemon is processed and you can also taste fresh lemon peel
- Lunch/Dinner. You can live the experience of tasting traditional but, at the same time, revisited dishes, with local ingredients, in a menu entirely lemon based
